Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were really comfortable and clean, but being right over the downstairs pub made it very noisy and hard to sleep until late at night. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful despite the difficult conditions. The location was great for exploring the Hadrian wall history but having a bus stop directly opposite could be a bit noisy. The dining was excellent and set me up for the day, although it was a different story elsewhere. Overall, a decent stay with some noise inconveniences.
My stay was really pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, making it a great place to relax. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff attending to our needs. The location was perfect for exploring the history of Hadrian's Wall and enjoying some beautiful walks. However, the dining experience was a bit chaotic at times, with delays in receiving breakfast. Despite that, the hotel provided excellent value for money with its amenities and services.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were above the bar area, and I will definitely recommend this place to all our friends planning to visit. The room was fine, clean, and comfortable, with a huge bed that kept us warm throughout the night.
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The room was spacious with a massive bathroom, but its location right outside the top of the stairs was a bit noisy at times. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate us, even keeping the chef on duty for our late meal. The location was excellent for exploring the Hadrian's Wall path, though the lack of blackout curtains made early mornings a challenge. The dining experience was fabulous, but the noise from the nearby pub could be bothersome. The facilities were great, including a nice bunk house.
After a day out, the hotel provided lovely rooms which were exactly what I needed after a long hike along Hadrian's Wall. However, there was a lingering smell of off milk. The service, especially for the wedding we attended, was top-notch, with very attentive staff. The location, perfect for the Hadrian's Wall path, was very pleasant, offering a great stopover for history exploration, although early daylight due to window blinds could be bothersome. The dining experience offered huge portions in the morning but was slightly chaotic at times. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
